In the last 100 years, what invention had the most impact on your life? Why? 
The invention that had impacted me the most was airplanes. The first time I saw one, I was walking with my brother near my house, and it scared us very much, we ran to hide from it.
What was your favorite decade? Why? 
My favorite decade was the thirties. I was young, full of life and dreams to come true. I got married and began to walk my own way. I liked to dance and have fun; healthy fun, with my brothers and sisters and now my wife.
What advice would you give to a high school graduate today? 
My advise will be the same I gave to my children: study study. If you can go to college much better. It is important to acquire knowledge in any field you like. Working in what you like is much easier.
What is the most important lesson you learned in your life? 
The most important lesson i learn in my life was to work hard, to be responsible and honest. That I learned from my father.
What leader in the past century impressed you the most? Why? 
The leader who impressed me the most, was John F. Kennedy. I remember when he visited Costa Rica en March 1963. He was a person who worked a lot for the most needy. I admired him very much.
