In the last 100 years, what invention had the most impact on your life? Why?
The internet completely changed my late life. I was over 90 when I learned to harness the incredible amount of information on it and email made my life much more interesting because it made possible to keep in track with my dwindling generation.
What was your favorite decade? Why?
The 30s. I fell in love, started working and I had not realized yet the impact Hitler meant to my later life. (I am Jewish and the 40s brought concentration camps into my life.)
What advice would you give to a high school graduate today?
Never stop learning and exercise every day.
What is the most important lesson you learned in your life?
If you have goals you will live.
What leader in the past century impressed you the most? Why?
Winston Churchill. He forged the alliance that brought the Nazis down.
