Introduce us to the next Genomic Pioneer.

The Archon Genomics X PRIZE presented by Express Scripts is a $10 million incentivized competition, challenging scientists to design rapid, inexpensive and accurate whole human genome sequencing technologies.

To further our understanding of what contributes to a long and healthy life, teams in the competition will sequence the genomes from 100 healthy and vital centenarians to a degree never before achieved. This new picture of the human genetic blueprint will enable both doctors and patients to make informed decisions about health care, creating a brighter future for generations to come. The centenarian "genomic pioneers" will make it all possible by donating their DNA to science as members of the Express Scripts 100 Over 100.
