Allison Klauer comes to the XPRIZE Foundation with over 12 years of experience in the customer service industry, including most recently 4 years in the Hospitality industry. Ms. Klauer has joined XPRIZE as a Senior Assistant/Team Administrator as part of the Talent & Impact Team supporting four Group Leads with general administrative work as well as supporting the Human Resource department.
Prior to joining XPRIZE Ms. Klauer worked at Marriott International as a Front Desk Supervisor, responsible for employee scheduling, payroll, performance management, rooms control, and daily guest service duties. Prior to that she was employed by the State of Florida with the Department of Elder Affairs as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Human Resources while attending college. She was responsible for handling all new hire onboarding, upkeep of personnel files and auditing, calendar and expense management, training, as well as acting as lead in the implementation of a new phone system for the Department.
Ms. Klauer received a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Florida State University. She was the Philanthropy Chair for the Florida State University College of Business, as well as the lead for the annual Department of Elder Affairs Blanket Drive providing essential items to over 200 elders in need, volunteered for the American Red Cross and the Meals on Wheels program. As she considers herself a total foodie, in her free time she loves finding new and exciting restaurants to try. She also enjoys traveling, biking, spending time outdoors with her two dogs, and coaching recreational gymnastics.
